The main thing you will need to is look around at baby bath tubs. An adult sized bath tub is too big to be comfortable for either of you. A sink can work in a pinch but it is not as comfortable for the infant. It is better to invest in a tub made for babies that will be of some kind of plastic and, therefore, far nicer for baby to be in.

Not only will this keep him more submerged in the water and therefore warmer, it also makes him feel more secure. Of course, you still need to be very careful when bathing your baby. You never want to leave a baby or small child in any type of bath unattended. But if you just prepare properly, bath time can be fun and without stress for all concerned.
