Of course, there’s nothing wrong with a rubber duck, but a little boy absolutely must have some boats to play with in the tub. Try to find a good selection in bright colors. The little tyke is sure to enjoy bath time with so many wonderful toys to play with.
Don’t forget to finish off the crib with a brightly colored mobile. You can try to find one with cars and trucks or just go with any mobile that has bright colors to match your crib. The baby will outgrow the mobile before he gets too interested in much of anything besides his bottle so it doesn’t really matter what is on it.
Of course, all babies need clothes and boys are no different. You’ll find that there is a lot of powder blue, but baby boys’ clothing is available in a wide range of colors. Since most people will buy you blue clothes for gifts, try to choose different colors. That way the little guy’s wardrobe will have more variety.
You’re almost ready for your little baby boy, but don’t forget to paint the nursery. Depending on what color you chose for the crib, you might find that light green, yellow or sky blue will look nice in the room. Darker colors should be avoided on the walls because they tend to overwhelm the room. Now that the painting is done, you can sit back and wait until the baby gets there.
